Jan Luescher is Chief Executive Officer of the ASW Group and responsible for the execution of the group strategy. He joined the company in November 2016. Jan was born in Zurich in 1981 and is a Swiss citizen. He holds an MBA from the Nanyang Business School in Singapore and a Master in Strategy & International Management from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Before joining ASW, Jan worked at Bain & Company, a leading strategy consulting firm, for over 10 years and was stationed in Zurich, Johannesburg and New York. He primarily focused on strategy definition and execution, customer loyalty and organizational design. In his position as CEO of ASW, Jan Luescher oversees the execution of the company’s growth strategy and is responsible for the strategy of the group businesses.
Daniel Sutter is Head of Finance & Controlling of the ASW Group and joined the company in July 2019. He was born in Langnau i.E. in 1985 and is a Swiss citizen. He is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen. Before joining ASW, Daniel worked as an auditor at PwC for 8 years where he was leading audits of national and international SMEs and large listed international corporations. Furthermore, he specialised in the area of consolidated financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER. He took over the role as Head of Finance & Controlling in August 2019. In his role Daniel Sutter is responsible for the internal and external financial reporting.
Alexander Koenig is founder of First Class & More and an expert in hospitality and tourism with a focus on loyalty programs. He was born in Munich in 1975 and is a German citizen. Alexander holds a PhD and Master in Business Management from the University of Mainz in Germany. He started his professional career in 2000 as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. In 2004 he joined McKinsey & Co. where he was part of the European Marketing Practice. In 2008, he moved to Dubai and worked several years as the Head of Branding and Market Research for Emirates NBD. During his time in Dubai, Alexander started his own company First Class & More which became the leading German insider portal for smart luxury travel. In 2018, First Class & More became part of the ASW Group and Alexander Koenig is now Managing Director of the First Class & More International AG.
